As a Vascular Access Specialist, you will assess patients and place vascular access devices (VADs) in a hospital setting, provide troubleshooting and education for existing VADs to staff, deliver services in compliance with company policies, medical orders, and industry standards, and collaborate with the in-office team to ensure exceptional patient care.

The PICC Nurse assesses patients and places vascular access devices in settings ranging from the inpatient hospital room to a patient’s home. The PICC Nurse also provides care, maintenance, troubleshooting and education for existing VAD’s. Services are provided in accordance with Chesapeake Mobile Healthcare policies and procedures and in compliance with medical orders.
